Refunds and Returns

We aim to ensure that products reach you in good condition. However, if for any reason you wish to return an item, please read our policy carefully. Anyone wishing to make a return from outside the UK please make sure you have read and understood our International Returns section.
Right to cancel and return
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, and request a refund. Items must then be returned to our facility within 14 calendar days of you informing us of your wish to cancel/return your purchase, before a refund can be issued. If you request to cancel your order while the package is on route, we cannot stop the delivery and your 14 day window for return will begin once the items reach you. However, we encourage you to refuse accepting the delivery upon arrival as this will automatically return the items to us. If you are unable, or choose not, to do this, the cost of return postage is the consumers responsibility.
Please be aware that personalised items cannot be cancelled once production has begun within 24hours of purchase, in accordance with UK consumer law exemptions.
Elective Returns
We hope you are happy with your purchases, however you are within your rights to change your mind and return your purchase within 14 calendar days of accepting delivery, at your own expense. To qualify for a full refund, returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.
Please note: If the wax seal or packaging around the Signed Books is broken or damaged, the item is no longer considered "as new" or "unused," and may result in a deduction of up to 30% from your refund.
We reserve the right to assess returns on a case-by-case basis, and reduce or withhold refunds for items with broken seals, damaged internal packaging, or signs of use, at our sole discretion.
If your BookBundle arrives with a broken seal, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving your delivery using our Order Issues form, and include clear photo evidence--even if this is not your reason for return. Failure to do so may result in only a partial refund or no refund at all, should the item be returned showing signs of tampering or wear. We appreciate that some customers may not open their parcels right away. However, because of the nature of the product, we ask that any issues with the seal or internal packaging are reported within 48 hours of delivery to ensure we can investigate and process your returns fairly.
For unwanted items returned unused, undamaged, and in their original condition, we will refund the full purchase price, including the original postage (if paid by you). Return postage remains your responsibility.
Personalised items are not eligible for a refund unless the product has been damaged during shipping--if this is the case evidence of damage must be sent to us via our Order Issues form within 48 hours of receiving your delivery and RanDoesThings holds the right to determine whether to provide a full or partial refund at our own discretion on a case-by-case basis.
Incorrect or Damaged Goods
Please note: This section applies to factory errors, postal damage, or incorrect items only. It does not apply to broken wax seals or packaging opened by the customer. Broken seals are not treated as damage unless caused in transit--for those cases, see the section on Elective Returns.
If items arrive damaged (e.g. bent corners, torn pages, clear printing error, or other faults during production or transit) or you receive incorrect items, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery using our Order Issues form and include clear photographic evidence. This allows us to assess the problem and offer a suitable resolution.
In the event that you do not want a replacement and instead request a refund, the items must be returned to us within 14 calendar days of delivery, at the customer's expense via our chosen courier. This return postage will be reimbursed as part of your refund and all returned items will be inspected upon arrival.
We reserve the right to reduce or refuse refunds for any items returned to us in a condition inconsistent with the reported damage, or with signs of wear or use that clearly occurred after delivery. In the absence of photo evidence submitted within 48 hours of receipt, any damage will be considered to have occurred post-delivery and we reserve the right to deduct up to 15% from the refund amount to reflect the additional inspection and diminished resale value.
If you've received items that are incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery via our Order Issues form with your order number and photos of what you received. This allows us to begin the process of correcting the error and ensures the return process can be completed within the legal 14-day window. For incorrect items with a value of £10 or more, we will require the incorrect items be returned before dispatching replacements.
Please be aware that if you fail to notify us of incorrect items within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, RanPublishesBooks is not obligated to replace or refund the items, and you may need to purchase the correct items again.
Missing Items
If your order arrives and an item is missing, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery via our Order Issues form. Please include your order number, a photo of the items you did receive, and the packaging, (showing how it arrived.)
We reserve the right to investigate claims of missing items. Where appropriate, we may re request the packaging be returned to us or contact the delivery provider to assist in our investigation.
If we confirm the item was omitted or lost in transit, we will offer a replacement or refund at no extra cost. We cannot guarantee resolution for missing item claims made after 14 calendar days from the recorded delivery date. For undelivered packages please refer to our Lost Packages (UK) or our Lost Packages (INT).
International returns
We accept returns from international customers under the same conditions outlined above. However please note the following:
Return Postage Costs for unwanted international items are the responsibility of the customer. Including any custom charges, duties, VAT, or fees incurred on return shipments.
In the case of incorrect or damaged goods, we will cover the return postage via our chosen courier, where possible. Please contact us before arranging any returns. Any custom charges, duties, VAT, or fees incurred on return shipments will be deducted from your refund. To help avoid these charges, clearly mark the package as "Returned goods" on all customs forms.
We do not take responsibility for any international parcels lost in transit. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
If you are requesting a return from outside the UK please Get In Touch before shipping any items so we can guide you through the best process.
Involuntary Returns
If we receive an unintended returned package at our facility, we will reach out to you to confirm an address for reshipment. After 7 days if we have not heard back we will send a follow-up email, if we still do not get a response after 1 week, your order will be refunded (excluding shipping if applicable) and placed back in our inventory.

While the majority of items sold through this website are distributed via our facility, some items, such as un-signed books, are outsourced to our print on demand distributor, IngramSpark. Please be aware that as a print on demand service, delivery will likely take longer than other items due to the time added to create the product. This will be communicated to you at point of sale. If you have any issues with your delivery you will need to contact IngramSpark via this link and they will be able to process your claim.
